I have been lazy and haven't journaled for a long time. For reasons unknown, today I feel like writing about a topic which came across my mind whilst driving. Is intelligence a perishable commodity? The answer is yes. As soon as the yes sounded like a bell in my heart, I felt a sense of tranquility criss cross my whole body. I will not anymore or any less care if I was born more intelligent. Up until that moment of clarity I was thinking how dumb and unintelligent I am but in my mind I knew all of a sudden that intelligence is so perishable that as I started typing this topic in the blog, I have already started losing the plot, memory and my intelligence!

6 weeks wait
A tiny twist and a painful scream
A mother to rescue to apply a lot of cream
Cold ice and warm air half and half
Urgent phone call to my other half
With the Right foot deformed, disabled and shut
Diclofenac, serratopeptidase and acetaminophen kick starts in the gut
Old crutches on both arms and the right foot attempts to touch the floor
Eyes watering from the excruciating pain that can not be taken any more
Limping all the way into the car with my entourage
An imminent trip to A&E for my foot salvage
Wheelchaired into and out for laser radiation in two nature
The nurse practitioner confirmed my cuboid fracture
Walking boot and back to home
Waiting for 6 weeks to come!

Niskāma Karma
My interpretation of Niskāma karma is this
1. Krishna has given a lifetime challenge for desireless action, but he has created mankind to perform actions through desires. Basically, he wants me to drive my bmw without diesel.
2. He thinks, if I drove the car without fuel he will issue me the ticket of moksha and I would have graduated to the moksha state.
3. He has not given me anytime frame as to when the moksha can be attained. He says take your time. Maybe this birth or in the following births.
I think desireless action is possible in a state of mind - eg people with mental health issues, learning disability, adhd, Down syndrome etc. They are already born with a gift to attain moksha. Krishna's challenge to us is to change the mind that we are born with to the mind that has a different composition of hormones. This change can be brought about by tapas as the sages used to do. Once the chemistry of the neurotransmitters changes we can attain a state of nirvana.
If humans lived 200-400 years who knows this might happen as an aging process. That is why this human body is important to allow the brain to get into the trans- state. Unfortunately, for multiple reasons we don't have 400 years. I probably have another 40 years at the max, time is lost so quickly.
The best way to get into that trans state is to start giving up on things, force desire out of mind through mindfulness, yoga ,meditation and Bhakti. Easiest form of yoga is Bhakti. Chanting and recitals may change the composition of the chemicals in the brain. The question now is, am I up for the challenge that Krishna has put on the table ?
