Whilst my oats flapjack is sitting in the kitchen oven at 175 degree centigrade, I am preparing myself to organize some of the floral pictures I have taken in the past. As I browsed through the shots there is this one picture that really brought the summer into my mind.
It is one of the random shots as one might capture during a casual walk.
I noticed this tiny insect cushioned on the lovely scented elderflower. How happy will that insect be to have the huge elderflower and its nectar all to itself? Does insects undergo emotions like me-Happy, Sad, etc.,?
Some of the stigma are still hanging around underneath the corymb suggesting the deliberate unwillingness of this flower to abandon pollens to the wind and the insect.
This Elderflower stands like a sturdy pole to flag and soar up on its own to reach the blue skies.
Having seen this flower in full bloom in August this year, I would have to enjoy some Elderflower and Apple drink.
I am deeply distracted by the burning butter from the oven. Off I go to rescue my flapjack!!
